Forehead lines
Softening forehead lines
The forehead covers a large part of the face and plays an important role in facial expression. Over time, repeated facial movements and skin ageing can cause visible lines to develop across the forehead. These lines are often caused by repeatedly raising the eyebrows and may become more noticeable in people with strong facial expressions or heavier eyelids.

Benefits & results
The forehead muscle is the only muscle in the upper part of the face responsible for lifting the skin upwards. Because of this, the muscle can partially compensate for excess skin around the upper eyelids. Repeated movement places continuous tension on the same areas of the skin, causing the lines to gradually deepen over time.
As the lines become more visible, they may create a tired, worried or tense appearance, even when the face is at rest. Treatment can help soften these lines and reduce excessive muscle activity in the area.
In some cases, filler treatment in the forehead may also be considered. This is an advanced treatment and requires careful assessment by an experienced doctor.
